Assassin snails are different from typical snails because they are known to hunt down and consume unwanted pest snails. They are also known to be bottom feeders or decomposers since they also consume leftover fish food, fish secretions, dead organisms, and more. These assassin snails consume foods such as frozen blood worms, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, fish food flakes or pellets, fish secretions, dead organisms, or even prey that are not fast enough to escape. If you plan on leaving these foods in your tank, multiple water changes are required throughout the week to maintain the water parameter specifications and needs for your pets. Water Parameters and SpecificationsOur assassin snails have been imported from Thailand and are a freshwater species. All of our snails have been under the quarantine process. In order to maintain a smooth transition for the snails here are their optimal specifications and water parameters requirements:Country/Manufacture: ThailandSnail Size: 1 – 2 cm (0.39 – 0.78 inches)Temperature: 70 – 77°FpH: 7 – 8kH: 2 – 10gH: 6 – 20 Shipping Information and PolicyWe hold a high standard when it comes to the shipping process for our snails. This means that we prioritize checking the temperatures in our customers area before shipping them out to guarantee a live arrival.
