If you need both headlight motors, then please select (2) two items and I will assume you need 1 left and 1 right. Usually when one motor fails the other is not far behind. Please send a message or a note with your payment to let us know which side you need if only purchasing one. There is no aftermarket for these headlight motors and rebuildable core motors are very hard to find. Rebuilding them is the only good option so please understand this before ordering and please remember to return your core(s) so I can continue to provide a low-cost alternative to other Buick Reatta owners. HEAVY DUTY GEAR UPGRADE STANDARD……This re-manufactured OEM headlight motor with a CNC heavy duty aluminum gear is the best and most cost-effective way to solve your headlight motor issues. I only sell remanufactured OEM motors because they are the best quality you will ever find but they do have a weakness which is the nylon plastic drive gear assembly. My rebuild process addresses this problem by upgrading the gear to a high-quality CNC machined hard anodized aluminum gear. You will likely never have to worry about a stripped or broken gear ever again. You cannot buy a motor with this heavy-duty upgrade anywhere else but here! **REFUNDABLE CORE DEPOSIT……..This listing includes a $50 per motor refundable core deposit included in the purchase price. The deposit will be promptly refunded back to your method of payment as soon as I receive your complete rebuildable OEM core motor(s). Missing or damaged parts may reduce the amount refunded. I do not deduct for the typical broken bolts or gear problems. If you prefer to send me your core to be rebuilt and not pay the deposit, then please see my other listing that does not have the $50 core deposit included. All headlight motors are completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, the brushes inspected for wear and replaced, when necessary, the armature housing is bead blasted and repainted when necessary to remove all traces of rust, a new waterproof “HEADLAMP UP” decal installed, and all new gaskets and precision machined Delrin torque pins installed. The new torque pins are much better quality than the OEM pins which fail and end up being ground to bits inside the gear housing. The nylon gear is replaced with a heavy-duty aluminum gear and properly lubricated with the correct OEM grease. End play is also adjusted and then the entire assembly is fully bench tested to assure the headlight motor is working perfectly and runs as quiet and smooth as when it was new! This service does not include the crank arm for the Reatta but is available new right here on eBay. Please check my feedback and you will find many happy customers. WARRANTY…….All my headlight motors come with a 3 year no hassle warranty. Keep your receipt for your records and if you have a problem with your motor within the warranty period just send it back to me and I will repair it and ship back to you within 2 business days or send a replacement. If you have any and would like to sell, I will give $35 each for them. Beware eBay sellers selling used headlight motors that have not been rebuilt! If they are still working, they won’t be for long. After 20+ years they will soon fail for the same reasons as the one(s) you are trying to replace. That is why they do not warranty them or only warranty them for 14 days (Seriously 14 days!!!) In most cases my rebuilt motors are still cheaper than used motors.
