Fits the following applications: Universal Part #: 38033 Finish: Chrome VIAIR Corporation – 300 Series 380C 12V Compressor 380C is a truly-rated continuous duty, 12-volt, 200 PSI compressor. It is capable of filling a 5.0-gallon tank from 165 PSI to 200 PSI in 3 1/2 minutes consistently, while never pulling more than 23 amps of power (@ 13.8 volts). Features include a standard 1/4” stainless steel braided leader hose with 1/4” NPT inline check valve and insulated wiring. VIAIR “C” model compressors are intended to fill air tanks. They are not equipped with an ON/OFF switch or pressure sensitive shutoff device of any kind. The use of a pressure switch and relay are recommended and required. All “C” model VIAIR compressors (except certain 90 & 100 series units) are equipped with a stainless steel braided leader hose and a check valve to keep the compressor from restarting under pressure which can create an amp draw spike and can cause motor damage. Most VIAIR compressors are equipped with a thermal overload protector that will shut down the unit when overheated. When cool, the compressor will automatically restart as normal. Note: Use thread sealant for proper installation. Teflon tape is not recommended. Properly sealed, recommended torque is 12 to 15 ft. lbs.
